We had a fairly quiet weekend. Dinner with Nick and Lou on Saturday which made me feel very old. We headed for home at ten to eleven, partly because the bar was too loud. Sigh.

Family dinner at Tanglewood on Sunday, listening to Australia lose at cricket and Melbourne win at football. We left Beth behind and took the opportunity to go see Stranger Than Fiction, which was nearly very good but ultimately...not.
