Gotta love Radio 4. I have just discovered that the BBC website hosts an utterly revelatory archive of In Our Time - essentially Melvyn Bragg and three other eggheads discussing matters of scientific, cultural or historic interest for 45 minutes.

It's genuinely mind-expanding stuff. This week I've listened to particularly fascinating episodes on The Nicene Creed, The Fisher King and The Social Contract.
